Castle Karsltejn was finished in 1348 as a hiding place for royal treasures and primarily the coronation jewels for the Czech king and emperor of the Holy Rome Charles IV. In the presence is Karlstejn not only unique historical site but also a place, where cultural events are taking place. Everybody who enters the castle walls will feel the charm of past history that has been writing it self in those walls.
